Its been a while since i posted anything so this so ill make this a bit quick. Ive moved over to blogger since i lost my previous web hosting due to losing my job. With moving over here i have lost all of my posts and I am unable to merge the posts over. So I will have to bring all of those posts over eventually over the next few months.

I have also been busy with some more medical leaves at work and gathering a new job and moving to my own place so this explains my absence for the past few months. With this in mind i am going to get back to working on this blog at least once a month with new reviews tips and tricks for everyone to improve their gundam experience.

Be sure to check back every month for a new review, tips tricks and more to help improve your gundam building experiance, as well as some more life events (not as often here though) that will help you guys out.

See you guys soon, thanks again for all the support.

Originally posted on 2/14/16, due to events, original was lost with my old site. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Its that time of year again for cons to start up and With me finally having caught the con bug, I got to once again go to a local con near me known as Ushicon

Unfortunately I had to miss most of Saturday and all of Sunday due to being sick, But I was able to have a good time none the less when I was there.

(as a side note im re-writing this after my original was taken down from my last website and i have not been able to port it over here.  So my memory is a bit hazy but ill do my best to recall my experience.)

Coming friday morning was quite different since im used to working late, normally till about 4+ in the morning. Thankfully I had some sleep the previous night and got to leave work early to better have energy for the busy day to come. After getting my badge and this years ushiko shirt, There wasnt much to do but to wait for the opening cerimonies to commence about 2 hours later.

Thankfully the maid cafe opened up this year early so i decided to go in and see what they had.  Of all the interesting things they had, They had prepared some Bento boxes, like one would get in japan if you were going to school.
Looks very yummy
Those bento boxes sold very fast however, within 20 minutes they were all gone and no more were made for the rest of the con. I was very happy to have enjoyed one while i could.

They even had a ton of amv playing during the hours as well as a manga library to read.

As the day went on I saw an even bigger variety of cosplays this year than there was last year, and a large variety too, though nothing from berserk. Unfortunetly at this point my phone had died so i couldnt get many pics of the cosplayers.

...

This years guests included caitlynn french and natalie hoover with several panels hosted by each. It took me a while to realize who they were since i have been out of the anime scene for some time but I did reconize natalie hoover from the game fairy fencer F among others.

...

As you can see I got alot of things signed by Ms hoover, even a card a friend managed to pick up for me since I had to miss the last day and a half.
...

Once again this year i was given some games by fans (how do these fans keep finding me and recognizing me? o.o) one of which is a surprise. This year I was given Bloodborne and a surprise ps2 game Bujingai. Ive never heard of this game but from what I can tell it looks like this is the official Gackt game from the lead singer, One day I will get to this. I was also given the sakura wars Ova and I look forward to watching it.

...

While I couldnt host the gunpla pannels this year thanks to my friend taking the helm early for them, I was able to donate my models to the pannel, including my first 2 PG kits. I have a few shots posted But for more shots of the con including the other events, you can see so at the official facebook page.

...

The artists alley and vendor floor this year was great, it felt much bigger even though alot of the same people where there, I think there was more diversity of who was there and such. I managed to walk out with quite a lot of stuff this year, more than last year.

...

Besides the kits, I think the next best things were the drawings I got and all the pins. I love all of these pins and posters. I do not remember the artist but she was extremly talented and I love it. Ill post her site if i remember again.

...

I even got me a new backpack just for the con. Its a heavy duty one too so it was kinda hard to put the pins in but worth it once i did. They arent going anywhere.

Im not one for figures since you are very limited on what you can do with them, but these attracted me this year, due to this character with the purple hair, and sonico because I love her style in terms of clothing and design. And the other one cause shes a fox and has very beautiful hair. Also palico kitten from monster hunter. Any kitten with an axe needs a spot on a display shelf.

...

Although I missed the last day and a half, including the tournament for smash, It was still a rather good time. I cant wait to go again next year. There was no special surprise gifts this year from fans of my youtube channel, but I think thats a good thing. I had too much fun this year and walked away with alot of fun stuff. The experience more than make up for any gifts and things I brought home.

...

Cant wait for next years con and what will happen then!
